I’ve had a lot of fun playing music over the years. My old friend Mike McGarry inspired me to pick up the bass guitar back in 1974 and I’ve been playing ever since. My first gig was the Arts Festival at Neshaminy High School back in 1975 with Jamie Thompson and Jim Misina in front of 1500 very critical teenagers. Jim and I were new to playing live and we were seriously nervous. Since then I’ve had the pleasure of playing with some of the best musicians in Bucks County and beyond including Danny Degennaro, Mikey Jr., Joe, Borghi, Jamie and Randall Thompson, Jim Misina, Gwen Umpstead Lefevre, Gene Yeager, Yvonne Mizrahi Blackwell, Mike McGarry, Paul Urban, Danny Kelly, Richard Ray Farrell, Michael Hughes, Mike Small, Ed Wilson and many, many more.
Here is a partial list of some of the venues I’ve had the pleasure of being a regular performer:
Trump Plaza Casino Atlantic City, NJ, - The Dizzy Dolphin Lounge at The Hilton Casino Atlantic City, NJ - The Buck Hotel Feasterville, PA - The Washington Crossing Inn - The Bolero Hotel Wildwood, NJ, The Lobster Loft Sea Isle City, NJ - The Logan Inn New Hope, PA, The Yardley Inn, Yardley, PA - Dacey’s Pub Morrisville - The Dog and Bull Croydon - The Sycamore Grill Newtown, PA…. The list goes on.
I have been in rock bands, blues bands, a few three piece midi bands, and I have performed countless solo acoustic shows all over Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. From Clapton to the Beatles to George Strait, Pearl Jam, Gershwin and Sinatra, from Stevie Wonder to Stevie Ray Vaughn, I cover a wide range of material and look forward to playing for your next big event.
Testimonial from The Dog and Bull Brew and Music House, Croydon, PA
“Vince the bartender and Michelle our server said they had a really good time and they told me that you were very good and that you are the perfect fit for our little brew and music house.
I look forward to hearing you and I am glad to have you in our rotation.
Testimonial from Thompson Toyota
"We were really pleased with the music provided by Joe Robinson, who we hired to add to the festive nature of our Annual Bike Race and Pig Roast. After attending an event where Joe had played, I contacted him to provide music for our event. Joe was on-time, professional and flexible when dealing with outdoor conditions (pouring rain). He plays a variety of music, appealing to a wide variety of ages and musical tastes. Our guests loved him."
